The Mod Day and meet have come and gone.  Let me tell you, the Mod Day was a RIOT!  We had no less than 19 cars show up, including the return of the Dyno King himself!  The current AZPOC President showed up, along with another AZPOC member who just happened to be visiting family in Irvine.  We installed two sets of phenolic spacers, both of which had problems during the install.  One member was able to install a new set of pilots.  More info on the Mod Day can be found in the 'Gatherings' section.

The meet on the 13th did not have the turnout that everyone had expected.  Perhaps this is because of the events from the day before.  Regardless, there were a few intrepid souls who made it to Dromo One and had a blast with the go-karts.  We all relaxed BIG TIME over at Dave & Buster's afterward.  For those of you who missed out on the meet, that's too bad.  You would have had a great time!  There was a fellow prober from South Dakota who was visiting family that made it to Dromo!  Excellent!  More info on this meet can be found in the 'Meets' section.

Now, it appears that the first ever California Probe Owners Group meet will be held.  This meet will be comprised of members from SCPOC, the Bay Area Probe Owners Club (BAPOC), and the Sacramento Probe Owners Club (SaPOC).  The event is being organized by SaPOC President Dan and will be held on August 27, which is a Sunday.  Details are just starting to tickle in right now, so when more become available, they will be posted here.

Stay tuned!

Well, plans are still having us meet at Lino's for Mod Day IV on the 12th and Dromo One on the 13th.  Please help Lino out and adhere to the rules of the complex when attending the Mod Day.  We will have plenty of refreshments for all attending members and guests!

The address for Dromo One is:

Dromo One

1431 North Main Street

Orange, CA  92867

714.744.4779

Cost: $20 for 20-25 laps

Remember that the driving here is far more organized than Speedzone and you will have fun!

Plans are under way to have a joint CA-Probe Owners Club meet near the end of this month.  Current plans have this meet being held at Pismo Beach on a Sunday.  Stay tuned for more details as they come in!

Due to popular demand, the Mod Night that was scheduled for August 12th, has now become a MOD EVENT!  This Mod Day will take place on the 12th, as before, but since we're going to have quite a few individuals want to get their goodies installed, the time to start lining them up is noon.

The meet is going to be held at Dromo One the next day, the 13th.  All Caravaners should be at their respectively spots early enough to be at Dromo One near noon.

Directions from San Diego: I-5N to SR-57N, exit Katella.  Turn right and proceed to Main St. Turn left on Main.  Facility is on the right hand side, just behind the coffee shop on the corner.

Directions from LA/OC area: SR-57S, exit Katella.  Turn left and proceed to Main Street.  Turn left on Main.  Facility is on the right hand side, just behind the coffee shop on the corner.

Cost is $20 per session, with the average session lasting a qualifying heat of 5-10 laps and a race of 10 laps.  The facility is very nice and well run.  Things are very organized, and they have a fast pace, so be ready to move once you get there.

We're going to hang out at the Dave & Buster's afterward, providing we can find enough parking for the Probe invasion force!  =)
