In order to make up for the aborted dyno day meet, we are trying to put together a cruise along Glendora Ridge Road through Azusa to Upland and having lunch at the end of the cruise at The Hat in Upland. The date is tentatively set for Sunday, March 30 @ 11:00am. Total time of the cruise shouldn't be more than a couple of hours. There will be one scheduled stop for pictures and rest, then we continue onward to The Hat. SCPOC will host the event and we are hoping for participation from at least 2 other car clubs.
For more information on this cruise, please visit the SCPOC forum on ProbeTalk.com.
Planning is underway for our annual participation in the Fabulous Fords Forever car show. It takes place this year on Sunday, April 20. Unfortunately, as is the case every year, that is also the same weekend that the Long Beach Grand Prix is running. We're hoping to have a good showing this year, just as we've had for the past few years, so if you haven't registered in the past, please visit the Ford Car Club Council's website, download the registration form and enter today!

There was a dyno meet scheduled for March 1, but was unfortunately rained out. Well, at least to most of us it was rained out. Turned out that when the rain stopped and things dried up a bit, the owner of the dyno shop allowed the few cars that showed up and stuck around to go ahead and run on the dyno. Not too many results have been posted up yet, but as soon as they are, it'll be posted here.

The annual Cal Club Banquet was held last night and SCPOC's own Stacey Bertran took home 2nd place in the 2007 overall standings for the Improved Touring B [ITB] class. In addition to this trophy, she also took home the "Low Bucks Racer of the Year" trophy, which is awarded for the racer who has little to no racing budget but somehow manages to make it out to all the events. Let's give her a round of applause for her hard work behind the wheel!
