Mod Day 6 - September 29, 2001
Ahhh another mod day to remember. Some of us first timer, some of us “been there, done that” likeOne of the pretty major mods going on were putting power windows on Gil’s ’93
PGT. It was hard at first but thanks to instruction manual we got it done in
about 7 hrs. on and off. While Gil was mounting the hardware I was doing the electrical
which was the hardest part. Getting 12 AWG speaker wire thru the doors and into
the the car itself was a
bi%#@. Also replacing a center console with one that didn’t have premium sound
required some tweaking of
it’s own. Hey Gil are those windows still going up by themselves? Lol.
On other mod was O sung and his tranny cooler on his 95+ PGT ATX. Of course they
couldn’t even do
anything till I showed them and helped them take the front bumper off. He had a
pretty hard time sealing it
because we didn’t have any grease or Vaseline, until Damon suggested we use “chap
stick”.
Oh yeah and it
worked. O sung was also showing off his computer diagnostics which was pretty
cool. And you still owe
me a ride in your car to compare with my ATX.
First timer French boy Renaud and his ’93 pgt. Can you say “NOS”? oh yeah baby
it was on. 75 shot of
it. I made sure to stand that bottle up high enough outside for that Honda ricer
across the street to lure
at. What a dumb ass sporting NOS stickers which we later found out were false.
Any ways he too needed my
help running a hose thru the firewall to the engine area, now you see why it
took me 7 hours on Gil’s car.
Too bad a Honda bit#$%# ran into his car later on that day. Stop racing Ducattis
Reno!
Mike as always prepping the BBQ, he just loves that. All I heard him talking
about was him body slamming people when he was younger. You big bully you. When
will we get started on your car Mike? There isn't much going on with your car.
And also I caught
Stacey sleeping in the end she was tired from all the cleaning, btw my mom
appreciated that. That’s the second time I catch her sleeping. Maybe next time
we’ll let you do our mods and show us what your made of.
I guess I can say I was the most helpful one in the whole day. Anyways as soon
as the Honda ricer arrived across the street Damon started talking smack about
his car out loud “hey Stacey put a leash on him. “ “down boy”. Hope to meet
more people on the next
one, and my house is always open for hosting mod days. I want everybody on my
block to know what we're all about.
